Water Jet Cutting System:
| This
system consists of an Ingersoll Rand water cutting system
used in conjunction with a Cincinnati Milicron Robotic arm,
operating within three distinct cutting cells. This system
allows Molded Plastic to cut a variety of parts made from
various materials quickly and accurately. All tools and fixtures
are built ‘in-house’ by Molded Plastic tooling
technicians, saving our customers time and money. Having a
number of different fixtures capable of being installed in
each of the three cutting cells allows Molded Plastic the
flexibility to change the quantity and type of parts being
cut at any given time.
An additional bonus is the relative ease
of programming new parts into the system. This allows for
fast prototyping of parts, and quick changes to the cutting
paths if your needs suddenly change in the prototype stage
of your program. |
